“We’re Talking, Now Let’s Communicate!”
Third of a three-part online series: “LIVING IN THE SPIRIT OF LOVE”
“It’s important to make sure that we’re talking to each other in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds.” Barack Obama
Each Roundtable event begins with a thought-provoking presentation, followed by discussion in small online "roundtable" groups of no more than six people. In this safe, facilitated space we will share our perspectives, concerns, and experiences. Join us to start the conversation!
This month, we are exploring how we can initiate conversations that can help bridge the gap between people with differing belief systems. We are living in an era of distrust and polarization. How can we listen and respond effectively to others when our very identity feels threatened? What skills can we learn and practice to foster understanding and harmony between religions, political parties, countries and in our own families? How can we talk to each other in “a way that heals”? Join us for this important conversation.
