Kenneth “Ken” Thomas is a native of Virginia, raised and educated in Colonial Williamsburg.   He has lived in Florida for 20 years. Ken retired after serving 36+ years in the field of Air Traffic Management.  He is a Vietnam era veteran of the United States Air Force. Over the past 18 years, Ken has served as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem (GAL), the Volunteer State President for AARP Florida, Regional Volunteer Director for AARP and on the Board of several nonprofit organizations. He is also a proud member of the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County where from 2019 -2021 he served as President. Ken is married with five children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
