TED BROWNSTEIN
Ted Brownstein is a grassroots interfaith organizer and author, living in Lake Worth Beach, Florida with Chris, his wife of 50 years. He holds a master’s degree in Biblical Hebrew from University of Wisconsin – Madison, 1985.
Raised as a cultural Jew, Ted became a Christian in college (without giving up his Jewish identity) and a Baha'i in 1997. Currently Ted is retired and remains active in a number of local and international organizations. He is co-founder and current Treasurer of the Lake Worth Interfaith Network, serves on the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Lake Worth, on the board of directors of Abrahamic Reunion USA, on the board of the Historical Society of Lake Worth, as a member of the Lake Worth MLK Committee, as an ambassador for the Parliament of the World’s Religions, and as faculty for the Wilmette Institute teaching online courses in Judaism, Christianity, and Interfaith Dialogue.
Ted is also compiler of The Interfaith Prayer Book (2014), author of Soaring in the Heaven of God’s Love (2017), a commentary on the Baha’i Long Obligatory Prayer and most recently released Kinship of the Bible and Qur’an – An Interfaith Perspective (2021).
